    I'm excited to now be able to offer virtual sessions. 1-1, pairs, or small family units, there are a variety of session lengths available for you to book right now. 

    I also offer a free 15 minute chat to see if we'd be a good fit before you commit to anything further!

    Terms & Conditions

    These consultation services provide guidance and support for individuals and families navigating difficult conversations about aging, end-of-life planning, and mortality-related topics. Services focus on communication strategies, practical planning assistance, and emotional support during challenging transitions.

    Professional qualifications and scope

    What I Am:
    * Certified End-of-Life Doula with professional liability insurance
    * Trained in death conversation facilitation, Advance Planning guidance and family communication strategies
    * Specialist in anticipatory death, grief, ritual creation and family dynamics

    What I Am Not:
    * I am not a licensed therapist, social worker, or medical professional
    * I do not provide clinical therapy, medical advice, or mental health treatment
    * I do not diagnose or treat mental health conditions
    * I do not provide legal, medical, or financial planning advice

    Professional Boundaries: If you require therapeutic intervention, medical care, legal advice, or mental health support beyond the scope of my qualifications, I will attempt to provide appropriate recommendations for qualified professionals.

    Cancellation policy

    Cancellation Policy:

    • 24 hours notice required for cancellations or rescheduling
    • Cancellations made less than 24 hours before your appointment will be charged the full session fee
    • No-shows will be charged the full session fee. A session will be considered a no-show if attendee is 15 minutes late.
    • Emergency exceptions may apply at my discretion (see Emergency vs. Urgent definitions below)

    Rescheduling:

    • Sessions may be rescheduled once without penalty if 24+ hours notice is given

    Payment:

    • Payment is required at time of booking
    • No refunds for sessions completed as scheduled
    • Refunds for qualifying cancellations will be processed within 5-7 business days

    Emergency & Urgent Definitions

    Emergency Situations (qualifying for cancellation policy exceptions):

    • Death of family member
    • Serious medical emergency requiring hospitalization
    • Natural disasters or circumstances beyond your control
    • Mental health crisis requiring immediate professional intervention

    Urgent Situations (standard cancellation policy applies):

    • Work conflicts or scheduling changes
    • Family disagreements or arguments
    • Feeling unprepared for the session
    • General anxiety about the conversation topics
    • Non-emergency health issues

    Session Guidelines

    Confidentiality

    All session content remains confidential unless you provide explicit written consent to share information or legal requirements mandate disclosure.

    Session Environment:

    • Sessions are conducted via video call (Google Meet or similar platform)
    • Ensure private space free from interruptions
    • Test technology connection prior to session start
    • Have water and tissues available to reduce additional distractions

    Session Preparation:

    • Come prepared with specific questions or situations you want to address
    • If involving family members, I will ensure all participants consent to the session
    • Bring any relevant documents or information that might be helpful

    Session Boundaries:

    • Sessions start and end at scheduled times
    • Additional time beyond scheduled session length may incur additional charges
    • Crisis support outside of scheduled sessions is not included in session fee

    Privacy, data protection, and your rights

    Information Collection:

    • Session notes are kept for continuity of care
    • Personal information is stored securely and not shared with third parties
    • You have the right to request access to or deletion of your personal information

    Communication:

    • Email correspondence about sessions is kept confidential
    • Marketing communications are separate and require explicit opt-in consent
    • You may unsubscribe from marketing communications at any time

    Dispute Resolution

    Any concerns about services should be addressed directly with me within 30 days of the session. If concerns cannot be resolved directly, disputes will be handled according to UK consumer protection guidelines.

    Agreement to Terms

    By booking a consultation session, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these terms and conditions. You confirm that you are seeking death conversation guidance rather than therapy, medical advice, or legal counsel, and that you understand the scope and limitations of the services provided.
